Solution Lets Enterprise BlackBerry Users Maximize Revenues with Quick and Easy Updating of Time-and-Billing Systems
Silver Spring, MD April 18, 2006 - Onset Technology, a leading developer of enterprise access software for wireless handheld devices and Airtime Manager, makers of AIRTIME for Professionals (A4P®) software, announced today a partnership to integrate Airtime's time-capture application with Onset's METAmessage®, the comprehensive "beyond email" solution designed for users of the BlackBerry® wireless platform from Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM; TSX: RIM).
The solution, to be called METAmessage A4P, will be shown at the Onset booth at the ABA Techshow at the Sheraton Hotel & Towers in Chicago April 20th - 22nd and at the Airtime booth at the Association of Legal Administrators show at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal May 1st-4th.
With this integration, METAmessage will provide best-of-class A4P time capture capability on BlackBerry handsets to accurately accrue every billable minute — client time spent on calls, reading and composing email messages, and other billable events recorded via the A4P stopwatch or entered manually.
"METAmessage is a broad, inclusive platform of solutions for mobile professionals using BlackBerry, while A4P brings a sharp focus to the critically important task of mobile time management," said Jerry Fenzel, CEO of Airtime Manager.
