Not Sure What Domain Name You Need?

• .com  is used by commercial entities such as companies with an Australian Business Number and businesses registered with State governments.
• .net is recommended for organizations and companies that are using the Internet as an integral part of their operations.
• .id is reserved for the people to create their own online identity.
• .asn is for incorporated associations, trade unions, political parties, sporting and special interest clubs, and partnerships between disparate organisations.
• .org is for verifiable non-profit and charitable organisations.

Helpful Hints when registering a domain name

• The only characters allowed are letters, numerical digits, and a hyphen (-) but the name cannot start or
  end in a hyphen.
• Spaces are not allowed. The name should be between 3 and 63 characters long. (Shorter the domain the better).
• www. is not actually part of the domain name.
• You can buy as many domain names as you wish so long as you continue to pay the required registration fees on renewal.

Domain names are NOT cAsE sEnSiTiVe, so abc.com is just the same as ABC.com.
