Challenge:
Family owned F1 Wheel and Tyre is QLD's leading high
performance wheel and tyre distributor. The company stocks over 500
different types of tyres and wheels.
Their relationship with the
major tyre brands, wheel makers and other performance products companies
means that F1 always have large quantities of stock available.
F1 needed a website that could sustain a large catalouge
and e - commerce facility. Further, the catalogue needed to be displayed
in a logical format. It was essential that the F1 catalgoue
displayed logically and was easy to navigate. Further, the
catalogue will constantly need to be updated in order to cope with
ever changing stock levels, product availabilty and specifications.
Further, an Online E - Commerce facility needed to integrated
into the website.
Solution:
Site - Ezy Content Managment System - integrating the E -
Commerce and Contacts Modules.
Site-Ezy provides the facility for F1 Wheel and
Tyre to administer their web site content in-house using the Site-Ezy
Content Management System.
By having control of when updates are to take place, F1
Wheel and Tyre can be assured that their web site content is always up to
date and relevant. A content management system also eliminates the
frustrations of waiting for your web site to be updated by a
developer.
The Site-Ezy content management system will enable F1
Wheel and Tyre's authorised users with basic word processing skills to add
and remove pages, edit, or delete content and publish changes
to their web site in a matter of minutes.
Contacts Module:
The Contacts module will allow F1 Wheel and
Tyre to specify access to restricted information and customise
content to different member groups. It will also enable F1 Wheel and
Tyre to collect information from their site visitors, which can
play a role in targeted promotions.

Contacts will have the ability to login to your web site and view the
pages available based on their permission settings.
E - Commerce Module:
The Site-Ezy Catalogue
Module provides a flexible facility to manage online product sales. The
module allows visitors to your website to view product details, add to
shopping cart and place orders.
The products are displayed
in a logical structure based on product groups, enabling visitors to
easily find the products they are interested in, with specials displayed
on the top level product pages to facilitate various promotions that may
be running at the time.
Freight charges are
calculated based upon several configurable options.
Several
options are available for payment, and the client selects between Phone,
Fax, Account or Credit Card depending on their member level and other
criteria.

Pricing:
By incorporating members
into the catalogue F1 Wheel and Tyre can determine price
dependant on the member group that the visitor has logged in as.
This
allows them to provide several levels of pricing based on client user
lever, which is controlled and maintained via Members Module and Catalogue
Module.
To receive relevant
pricing levels a client must log into the system before processing their
order. All visitors who do not login are assumed to be general
public, and pricing reflects this.
My Products:
A ‘My Products’ facility
allows Members to keep their own lists of products that are available
through the website, enter their own notes on these products and order
them as required.
This feature reduces the amount of time that a regular
purchaser of your products spends looking for their favourite products on
the website. This also encourages repeat business and makes the
order process even easier.
Site-Ezy e-Commerce
Module
Site-Ezy's e-Commerce
Module extends the catalogue module's capabilities, by enabling you to
take online credit card payments for your products. The e-Commerce
module incorporates a merchant payment processing function, which is
provided by E - Booth
All e-commerce
transactions are processed using a secure SSL Certificate that can be
purchased on your organisations behalf. By using a SSL certificate
and Camtech transaction processing your organisation can conduct commerce
with the knowledge that transactions are protected as possible from fraud,
sensitive information supplied by your customers is protected, and
customers and suppliers really are who they say they are.
